META: Campi del Mandriolo - Asiago Plateau and Seven Municipalities (VI)
Snowshoeing, our steps through the Val Formica will be guided by the warm light of the sunset that will make the panorama towards the Alps even more magical.
When it gets dark, we arrive in a snowy basin, the Campi del Mandriolo, where light pollution is minimal and we can admire our galaxy, the Milky Way, in its full splendor and be enchanted by the myriad of stars that surround us.
The guide, a passionate amateur astronomer , will entertain you with many scientific and mythological curiosities about the winter sky that always makes us dream.
At the end of the excursion it will be possible to have dinner with friends at the Larici da Alessio Refuge with the following menu:
- First course of your choice
- Mixed grilled meat with side dishes
- Homemade treats
- coffee
- water and wine or soft drink included in reasonable quantities (beer excluded)
INDICATE ON NOTES the EVENTUAL NUMBER OF PARTICIPANTS WHO WILL STAY FOR DINNER and any food intolerances/allergies.
Reservations are mandatory.
DIFFICULTY: we assign a difficulty of 2 on a scale from 1 (very easy) to 5 (challenging)
The route runs through mountain paths and dirt roads. The difference in height is less than 250 m, there are no exposed sections.
WHAT TO BRING WITH YOU: waterproof mountain boots, layered clothing suitable for the mountain climate, waterproof jacket, hot water or tea for the duration of the excursion, a small snack such as dried fruit, hat, gloves, headlamp possibly with a steady red light.
COST: €15 for the guided excursion per person, €10 for children under 15 and season ticket holders. Snowshoes and poles can be rented: €10 per person.
In the event that there is not enough snow, you will proceed on foot without the aid of snowshoes.
COST OF DINNER: at Rifugio Larici da Alessio 25€ per person for the above menu. Indicate at the time of booking any intolerances/allergies and number of participants for dinner.
For children it is possible to arrange a menu for 15 € Option A: First course + Drink + Sweet Treat - Option B: Chop + Fried / Sausages + Fried / Frankfurters + Fried + Drink + Sweet
The cost of the dinner must be paid directly on site at the restaurant.
