Passage of the traditional "Transumanza" in the historic center of Asiago
Make way, the cows are coming!
Friday, September 27, 2019 will be held the traditional passage of cow transhumance to Asiago,one of the most felt folk traditions in the Plateau.
Every year, the transhumance accompanies over 450 cows,driven by a hundred people also on horseback, along the journey back from the mountain pastures.
At around 3 pm, the herd will make a short stop at Sisemol resort in Gallio, before leaving at around 4.30 pm to the center of Asiago, passing around 6 p.m. in the main square of the old town, Piazza II Risorgimento,and continue to the boulevard Station; here is planned a short stop,in front of the headquarters of the Montana Community Spectacular Regency ofthe Seven Municipalities, for the delivery of the lock,the bell symbol of transhumance.
Here the City of Asiago will reward the cow that produced the most milk with a hand-decorated lock by the artist Chiara Carli Muller.
Arriving in Turcio,the cows will stop for the night stop,then leave for the plain the next morning, with the final destination Bressanvido.

arrival of the show in Asiago
Continue to Station Square for the delivery of the traditional bell.
The transhumance will then continue to Turcio, where it will stop for the night stop.
Saturday 28 September
7 a.m.
Departure to Bressanvido, arrival scheduled for 16.30 on Sunday 289 September with Festival of Transumanza
