Trekking&Yoga Oriental Dolomites: Two-day Trek Under the Antelao - St. Mark's Refuge - with Highland Guides and Chandra Yoga Asiago - Mountain Professionals

On 27 and 28 June 2020 a weekend dedicated to yoga in the high mountains and Trekking in search of physical and mental well-being in a spectacular setting: the Dolomites.

The activities will take place at the San Marco Refuge in the heart of the Eastern Dolomites, in the municipality of San Vito di Cadore on the Col de chi from Os to 1823 m above sea level, surrounded by immense Dolomite ramparts such as the Antelao, the Sorapiss, the Marmarole.

From the hut it seems to touch first hand the normal route of ascent to the Antelao and the slender and elegant walls of the Cima Belprà. It is one of the few shelters that still retains the original structure (1895), small and welcoming, when you visit it seems to relish atmospheres now forgotten and is called by many "a corner of paradise".

The activity includes:

Hatha/Vinyasa yoga sessions and meditation.
Trekking.
Advanced yoga instructor.
Experienced media-mountain companion of the College Guide Alpine Veneto.
2 Yoga and meditation classes with Giulia Rigoni.
2 historical and naturalistic excursions with Anna Sella.
1 night in the shelter.
1 breakfast in the shelter.
1 dinner with typical shelter menu and water at the meal.

Meeting at 10 a.m. at SunBar Baita in San Vito di Cadore
"Walk to the San Marco Sanctuary (700 m)
Arrival at the shelter and accommodation
Hatha Yoga and Meditation Practice
Dinner and Night in the Sanctuary

Sunday, June 28, 2020
Sunrise observation, not mandatory, with DOLOMITICO panorama (camera is recommended)
Meditation practice
Breakfast in the Sanctuary
Dynamic Yoga Practice
Trekking in the context of the Dolomites of Ampezzo (400 m difference) to the Galassi Refuge (lunch in shelter not mandatory and lunch not included in the altitude)
Arrival scheduled in San Vito and snack in company with final greetings scheduled at about 5 p.m.

It's medium/challenging trekking, but done in peace to savor the nature and peace that is typical of the place.

The description of the days that includes multilevel yoga practices, meditation, walking in nature is indicative and there may be variations in the course of the program even on the same day. There are no constraints or obligations to participate in the practices and if you wish to rest instead of attending some meetings you are very free to do so.

COST OF TREKKING WITH YOGA PRACTICES:

The cost of trekking is 150 euros per px
Reduced cost if booking in pairs : 140 euros

- The fee includes: guide service and practice yoga with certified teacher for 2 days, overnight at the San Marco Refuge in the room, dinner (including water) and breakfast.
- The dimension does not include: everything that is not expressly described and specified below.

REQUIRED CLOTHING:

- Yoga Mat
- Stack or light blanket;
- For the walk you need mountain boots, long pants, k-way, torch for evening/afternoon outings;
- Everything you need to sleep in the shelter, sleeping bag (there are bunk beds equipped with blankets, but possibilities, for those who want, to use their sleeping bag)

It is also advisable to have sunglasses, sunscreen, cap or bandana.

Extra:

Languages spoken: Italian, English.
Minimum use of the mobile phone and only in time slots decided by the organizers (except special situations).

- Giulia Rigoni – advanced yoga teacher
Born and raised on the Asiago Plateau, a magical place full of history and wonderful nature.
Since I was a child I have cultivated a passion for art, especially for painting, and in the course of my life I have had the opportunity to deepen my artistic skills with study and practice by also participating in exhibitions and competitions in Italy and Europe.
At the age of 25 another discipline enriched my life: yoga. After years of study these two great passions of mine have finally become the profession. Since 2012 I have been teaching multilevel yoga and offering art-creative workshops to adults, teens and children trying to convey my love for these two worlds. In collaboration with a childhood friend with whom I share the passion for nature and the mountains for three years I propose yoga and meditation practices in nature with a formula unique and all to discover.

Security and expertise

The Yoga and Meditation classes will be guided by the Advanced And Recognized Certified Yoga Teacher CONI Rigoni Giulia and the walks will be accompanied by Media Mountain's escort Anna Sella who is part of the College of Alpine Guides of Veneto.

Conscious breathing practices

HATHA YOGA
This practice aims at achieving psycho-physical balance and a greater awareness of our vital, physiological and body processes in all its parts. The different postures and respirators cleanse our being making us stronger, more flexible and balanced. It acts in elongation on all muscle chains, also favoring a deep joint mobility. it is a practice that makes us aware of our physical limitations and helps us to overcome them thanks to a deep concentration on the state of mind-body presence.

- VINYASA YOGA FLOW
it is a form of dynamic yoga that follows the principle of the harmonic flow of breath and movement. The student's mind is soon hooked by practice, distracted from its usual patterns and taken to higher levels of awareness. The strong pace and continuous variations in the fascinating series of positions make it an excellent exercise, able to keep the body in its optimal form through all stages of life. Controlled breathing calms the nervous system and purifies internal organs, blood vessels and lymphatic system, improving health and generating a sense of deep well-being.
