Trio Rebay-Sara Ligas, flute-pink Ferdinand, clarinet-Omar Fassa, guitar. Music by Kreutzer, Rebay, Roselli, Jugy

Artemusica culture presents, in a very special concert, the Trio Rabay, Chamber music formed flute, clarinet and guitar. The concert will take place on Thursday 4 September at 21.00, Sala Santa Giustina in Roana.

You will perform music by Kreutzer, Rebay, Roselli, Jugy.

This program, while not built according to a common theme, has however ontologically proposals seeking to locate an original repertoire for this organic as much as possible.

We start therefore from the most popular composition for flute, clarinet and guitar, Trio op. 16 by Kreutzer, to reach a contemporary composition written by Pascal Jugysullo style of tango and Latin melodies. Crossing the Italian melodies with Green themes and Rota, echoed through the work of e. Rosselli, we come to a Pearl of viennese repertoire from the early twentieth century, rediscovered by our Trio in the arches of the library of Vienna: Kleine Hispanische border Rhapsodies of f. Rebay.

One of the main goals of the Trio is, in fact, the revaluation of executions for this organic so colourfully and potential, than forget.

That purpose is thus prosecuted on two fronts: the rediscovery of the past, forgotten repertoire in the archives, on the one hand and the Commission new works, on the other.

The trio Rebay was formed in September 2013 with the aim to explore and disseminate the repertoire for flute, clarinet and guitar, especially in relation to

numerous unpublished works of the Austrian composer of the first half of the 20th century Ferdinand Rebay from which comes the name of the ensemble.

In October 2013, the trio won the third prize in the competition of Chamber music Miriam and Pierluigi Vacchelli Piadena (CR). He performs frequently in concerts in Lombardy and Sardinia.

With the collaboration of talented musicians, the trio has completed the recording of a cd of Chamber music for wind instruments and guitars of f. Rebay.
