Dialogue "two worlds so far away yet so close" between m. Cason and Marchetti, Asiago, August 16, 2016

On August 16, 2016, at the terrace of, there will be "two worlds so far away yet so close", a dialogue between the authors Mauro Cason and Gian Paolo Marchetti, centered on the figure of the man.

The meeting, organized by the Publishing House Coffin Publishing, will start at 19.00 hours and will be an excellent opportunity to meet the authors and discuss with them on the topic of being a man.

THIS IS A MAN-MAURO CASON

Mauro Cason is author of the book "This is a man," which tells of a journey into theauthenticity of being male, a journey where your destination is, somehow, the starting point. A path to find the Warrior, the wise, the poet and lover who lives inexorably inside every man but that in recent years we have lost. Understand, accept, restart from the deepest rooted archetypes to understand what we are today and be aware of our essence, so far the expectations of a society in which (re) feminized to find identity and meaning to one's being man becomes really complicated. The book stems from the deep awareness that being males today is complicated: the men of the new millennium, in fact, are called to fill new roles in the family, at work and with themselves; they are not prepared, no one has taught them how to "move" in a society profoundly changed the dynamics of the masculine, even towards the female world. The opera tells the story of a teenager, Mirco, who one summer morning met an old fisherman; a meeting that will change your life, it will be for the guy a "collect the witness" a sort of superstitious ritual that launched him permanently in themale universe, a world from which is deeply attracted but that scares him. The text therefore addresses all those issues that make a man a man, are pages that leave a mark, who voice and dignity to a "feeling" that often struggles to be known and recognized.

1916: a YEAR of WAR-GIANPAOLO MARCHETTI

"1916: a year of war" is the title of the book by Gian Paolo Marchetti describing an immediate major war events of 1916 that occurred on the Italian front; the reader is facilitated when reading from images of covers of "La Domenica del Corriere" designed by Achille Beltrame who were, at the time, our current "Twitter" for the directness of the message, for energy, for the singular ability of viticulture.

A tale for the public; in fact, in a context not entirely literate, the covers were an essential part of the message. Much more than "La Domenica del Corriere" was the popular magazine par excellence. The author has exploited the modernity of Baghdadi in fact through the images he created, the largest and most unique events of world are escalated to isolated rural houses, causing an avalanche of news and knowledge to generations.

The book is aimed at people who out of curiosity, out of interest or study approaches the history of the great war with a description accessible to all, of the major battles and major player of the year. The author has placed at the Center the Figure of man with his emotions, his passions and his sufferings quoting excerpts of letters or diaries that soldiers were writing from the same areas and in those times when describing the battle
