Sunday 27 August 2023, at 4:30 pm, LeMelette Outdoor Experience organizes a fascinating experience in an educational farm for families to discover the forest, during which you will go from a former forest nursery to the mixed forest, from tree to tree in a journey through the history of the woods of the Asiago plateau. There will also be a tasty and genuine snack based on organic products.
Details of the petting zoo experience
Following path B as "Bosco" you will discover a former forest nursery, forests crashed by storm Vaia, the impervious mixed forests of the Ghelpach valley, characterized by the presence of rare and colorful flowers and rather invasive alien species.
We will stop to observe and interpret the landscape to discover how it has evolved over time. On the way back we will discover perspectives on the "forest that will come", presenting some projects, such as the Life Vaia Project, which arose in response to ongoing climate change and affect our forests.
The route is about 4.5 km long with about 150 m of uphill elevation gain .

- 4.30 pm: Welcome and visit to the former Ambrosini forest nursery and interview with silver firs with sensory journey
- 5.00 pm: Snack based on organic products
- 5.30 pm: Guided walk through the crops, the spruce and the mixed forest
- 19.00: Conclusion and greetings

To bring:
- Comfortable clothing: long pants and shoes with non-smooth soles (hiking boots or shoes) mandatory.
