FLAVIO RODEGHIERO

Flavio Rodeghiero is a teacher and journalist, he graduated in Law, political science and theology. He was Vice President and head of culture of the Government of the seven municipalities, Councillor for culture of the municipality of Padova University College President d. Nicola Mazza and commissary of the Ente Regionale per il Diritto allo Studio di Padova. He was a member of the Chamber of Deputies and member of the SEVENTH Standing Committee on culture.

ThePlateau of the seven municipalities was the only territory in Italy to live at the forefront all 41 months of the first world war. Introduced by the distinguished historian of World War I, Alberto Monticone, and enriched by contributions of other talented scholars, the book is a helpful guide to understand how the conflict broke out, which had devastating human, social and economic consequences on this part of the national territory, and like today it retains and protects the memory.
