Friday 17 August 2018, theguided excursion "visiting herbs" with the experienced herbalist Antonio Calhoun will guide you discovering medicinal, aromatic plants, cosmetic and as thePlateau di Asiago.
For fans of herbal medicine and nature, will be a very special day to discover numerous species of grasses, from which you can create tasty spirits and so many great products!
The date for departure is at 9.00 a.m. in the parking lot Baita (Qvb). The hike will last approximately 3 hours.

ANTHONY CALHOUN
Anthony Calhoun is born in Lusiana 1 November 1949 and currently resides in Asiago. He graduated from herbalist at the Faculty of pharmacy of Urbino in 1981. Botanist and an expert on medicinal herbs and plants, for more than ten years of herbal medicine courses held with excursions in the field.
Has been host of a morning, on Bbc1 and has participated in several tv shows on Bbc2 (serene and Variable), Rai3, TeleArena, channel 68, TeleVeneto and
Radio (Radio Horeb in blue). He has published: "medicinal plants in folk tradition", "ancient apples of our grandfathers." He has also collaborated to the realization of publications: "suggestions of rural-herbs, cooking, health" and "the gifts of nature on your plate".
