Vivaldi concert review for Festival Asiago Asiago Saturday 10 August
Saturday 10August2013 new appointment with the 47 ^ Edition ofAsiago Festival.
The evening will be gladdened by music by Vivaldi with Konstantin Esterl on organ, Magdalena Rezler (violin), Julius Berger and Hyun-Jung Berger on cello
The event will be held at St. Matthew's Cathedral of Asiago, 21:00 hours.
ANTONIO VIVALDI
Antonio Lucio Vivaldi was a composer and violinist Italian, leading exponent of the late Venetian Baroque. Said the Red Priest for the color of his hair, was one of the most virtuoso violinists of his time and one of the greatest composers of Baroque music.
Considered the most important, influential and original Italian musician of his time, Vivaldi contributed significantly to the development of the concert, solo, in particular genre started by Giuseppe Torelli, and technique of violin and orchestration.
