Guided walk at sunset and moonlight, dinner in Malga with typical products.

META: Rubbio (Conco) - Asiago Plateau and the Seven Municipalities (VI)

This excursion takes place in Rubbio, an unpublished itinerary route through the warm colors of the sunset that leads to the top of the Caina. From this mountain nestled between the Plateau and the Grappa massif, the view extends over the Venetian plain to the sea and the Venice lagoon. With a gentle ups and downs we cross pastures and woods aided by the moonlight, until we reach Mount Cimo where those who want to stop for dinner in the malagasy of the same name. 

This mountain is also famous for its cuniquely architectural rural history,which tells the story of this territory bordering the Alps and the plain.

We arrive in Malga Cimo where those who want can stop for dinner, to live even with the taste this mountain experience tasting the local products.

We return for an easy dirt road, illuminated by the Moon,in a suggestive atmosphere that recalls nights ofyesteryear!

Reservations are required.

Mandatory personal equipment of mask and disinfectant gel.

Il Malga Cimo's menu for 15 euros per person includes:

• pea cream in bowl with crostone,

• second dish consisting of: bite of polenta toasted with toast and speck, slice of baked tomato with cooked ricotta, taste of fresh ricotta stuffed with honey and walnuts,

• sweet and coffee.

DIFFICULT: We assign a difficulty 3 on a scale from 1 (very easy) to 5 (challenging)

The route is looping and does not present any particular technical difficulties. It develops between mountain trails and dirt roads. The uphill difference is less than 350 m, there are no exposed sections.

FROM PORT WITH Self: mountain boots, layered clothing suitable for the mountain climate, waterproof jacket, water for the duration of the excursion (at least 1 liter), a small snack such as dried fruit, sunscreen, sunglasses, cap, front stack.

COST: 15 euros for guided hike. 5th for children under 15. Dinner is not included in the price.
