Description:
Walk among the potato fields to learn about’mountain farming and in particular the secrets of this famous and delicious vegetable throughout Italy!
The place name tells us stories of hunger, of ingenuity, of enormous work in order to cultivate these slopes.
Great toils alleviated a little by the arrival of potatoes from the new world, thus allowing you to survive more easily the long winters transforming with admirable skill this tuber into numerous dishes that we can taste at the end of our tour in a local farmhouse.
Reservations are required.
Mandatory personal equipment of mask and disinfectant gel.
DIFFICULT: We assign a difficulty 1 on a scale from 1 (very easy) to 5 (challenging)
The route is spread between mountain trails and dirt roads in the Rotzo countryside. The uphill difference is less than 150 m, there are no exposed sections. The route can also be carried out with strollers.
FROM PORT WITH Self: mountain boots, layered clothing suitable for the mountain climate, waterproof jacket, water for the duration of the excursion (at least 1 liter), a small snack such as dried fruit, sunscreen, sunglasses, cap.
COST: 15 euros, for guided excursion. 5th for children under 15 years.
