Guided sunset walk and dinner in Malga with Asiago Guide

META: Malga New Mountain - Asiago Plateau and the Seven Municipalities (VI)
A sunset walk through the pastures and beech forests in the Plateau of the 7 municipalities, guided to discover the production of Asiago DOP cheese and its history.
"Behind each cheese there is a pasture of a different green, under a different sky" writes Calvino: go to discover (and taste) the secrets of the real Asiago DOP cheese of Malga, understanding some of its secrets: such as pasture herbs, processing rooms, aging techniques, microorganisms that help every stage of the process...
The dinner offered gives us a taste of products made from spontaneous mountain herbs, but above all a lot of love and passion for this centuries-old work.
Reservations are required.
Mandatory personal equipment of mask and disinfectant gel.
At the end of the excursion, for those who want, you can stop for dinner at Malga Montagna Nuova di Behind with a menu at 15 degrees that consists of:
- Homemade noodles with sauce or malga butter;
- Fresh and seasoned cheese cutters with sopressed cheese; polenta, sheasel and cooked vegetables;
- sweet made in malaga;
water, wine, coffee and mountain liqueurs.
FIX: We assign a difficulty 2 on a scale from 1 (very easy) to 5 (challenging)
The route is looping and does not present any particular technical difficulties. It develops between mountain trails and dirt roads. The uphill difference is less than 250 m, there are no exposed sections.
FROM PORT WITH SÉ: mountain boots, layered clothing suitable for the mountain climate, waterproof jacket, water for the duration of the excursion (at least 1 liter), a small snack such as dried fruit, sunscreen, sunglasses, cap, front stack.
COST: 15 euros for the guided excursion. 10th for under-15s. Dinner is not included in the price.
