description:
Monte Fior and Monte Castelgomberto have some of the most suggestive trenches of the Asiago Plateau, some of which have been cleaned up and put in safety so they can be perfectly visited. In addition, the outcrops of ammonite red create real cities of rock, the so-called crowns, spectacular rock formations on which it is not uncommon to see marmots "stretched out in the sun"!
On the return it is almost a must to stop at Malga Slapeur to greet the nice managers left among the few to still produce the authentic Asiago anchor, that of sheep!
Reservations are required.
TO TAKE WITH you: necessary mountain boots, layered clothing suitable for the mountain climate, waterproof jacket, water for the duration of the excursion (at least 1.5 liters), possibly a small snack such as dried fruit, sunscreen, sunglasses, cap and PACKED LUNCH.
