The destination of this guided excursion will be Spitz Verle (1908m), also known as "the eye of the highlands" for its fantastic position of dominance over the Asiago Plateau and overlooking the lakes of Levico and Caldonazzo. For this strategic location, before the war it was one of the ideal places for the construction of a fort, the remains of which still tell us about the atrocities of the battles that took place. On this day we will have the opportunity to glimpse the conflict through the eyes of those who at that time lived in border areas, with work and affections divided between the two countries.
The route develops between mountain trails and dirt roads. The climb is less than 600 m, there are no particularly exposed sections.
