AGRIGHEL: the exhibition of mountain agricultural and forestry machinery returns to Gallio on the weekend of 18 and 19 May. With the spectacular chainsaw carving show.
The exhibition-market for lovers of mountain agricultural and forestry machinery is back in the splendid mountain setting of Gallio, a joy and imagination of even the youngest visitors. It is the 10th edition of "Agrighel" held on 18 and 19 May 2024 along the squares and streets of Gallio, on the Plateau.
An exhibition of mountain agricultural and forestry machinery that brings together lovers of this sector, Agrighel will host, as per tradition, numerous agricultural and forestry machines of various types dedicated to mountain agriculture: machinery for forestry work, multiple varieties of tractors and agricultural vehicles as well as a rich exhibition of plants and flowers.
The 2024 edition will see a series of novelties starting with the Chainsaw Carving Show: the "A rooster for Gallium" competition will engage 10 carving sculptors on Saturday afternoon in the creation of works, which will then be judged by an exceptional jury.
Another novelty for 2024: the traditional stage of the Lumberjack's Pentathlon this year becomes an International Competition with top-notch professionals at work!
The market exhibition will involve Piazza Italia and all the streets and side squares of the historic center of Gallio, where there will be stands of exhibitors from all over Italy, as well as artisans and small local producers.
As per tradition, there will be appointments with musical entertainment, food and wine and the prize draw.
Agrighel evolves every year and becomes not only an exhibition of some of the most modern vehicles and equipment available on the market, but aims more and more to introduce the agricultural world to non-experts through practical demonstrations, exhibitions and engaging activities.
The aim is both to create a point of contact between users and traders, between exhibitors and visitors, and to involve tourists with the aim of making them participate in the development prospects in the field of mountain agriculture.
Organized by the Organizing Committee of Gallio (Col), in collaboration with the Ghel Jaeger Hunters Group, the event is also sponsored by the Unione Montana Spettabile Reggenza dei Sette Comuni.
