Between eco-sustainability, artistic expression and AI: Asiago's sculptures that talk to visitors and tell the story of the Plateau
Asiago, April 1, 2024 - On a memorable day for the inhabitants and visitors of the Asiago Plateau, two extraordinary giant sculptures will be inaugurated this afternoon, in the meadows near the Asiago Military Memorial, along the Ferragh municipal road.
This event marks a significant moment for the local community, demonstrating once again the strong link between art, nature and technology.
The sculptures, artistic representations of two chickens, were created by a team of local artists known for their commitment to the use of natural and recycled materials. These works of art not only enrich the landscape of the Plateau with their majestic presence, but also introduce an unprecedented innovation in the world of public art: an integrated artificial intelligence system that allows the sculptures to interact with visitors.
Thanks to this sophisticated device, both works can communicate, answering questions about the Asiago Plateau, from the weather to traditional recipes, from the routes to explore to the scheduled events. This feature makes the sculptures not only a visual eye-catcher but also an interactive information point, combining art with the most modern technologies.
The technological heart of these sculptures is directly integrated with Asiago.it, from which all up-to-date and useful information is drawn, guaranteeing answers of great value for visitors.
The innovative proposal, put forward by the Asiago.it team, immediately captured the interest and enthusiastic support of the far-sighted local authorities. The Opening Ceremony
The inauguration ceremony, scheduled for the afternoon of April 1, 2024, at 5:00 p.m., will be attended by local authorities, artists involved in the project, citizens and tourists.
The program includes a guided tour of the sculptures, detailed explanations of the creative and technological process behind these works, and, of course, live demonstrations of the interaction between the sculptures and the audience.
To make the event even more special, a charity fishing was organized on site.
The inauguration of the giant sculptures is just the latest example of the Asiago community's commitment to enhancing its cultural and natural heritage, in a continuous dialogue between tradition and innovation.
