Asiago is preparing for the magic of Christmas

Saturday 12 November there will be the inauguration party of Christmas "Christmas gardens" of Asiago

Asiago takes the magic of Christmas and prepares to give the boot to the winter season with the opening celebration of Christmas "Christmas" which will be held Saturday, November 12, at 17.30 hours.

New this year will be thelighting of the "Fountain of light", designed specifically for the artistic Pan's Fountain at the center of the public gardens of Piazza Carli, an initiative supported by theAssociation "Gardens" in collaboration with the municipal administration of Asiago.

To enliven the Festival there will also be a Gang Mount Lemerle of Cesuna. The opening of the market, now in its tenth edition has become over the years more and more attractive for the whole Centre of Asiago, will see the opening of all the lodges in the elegant setting of the squares of the old town, Piazza Carli and Square II Risorgimento. The cabins will be ready to accommodate residents and tourists with the cosy Christmas atmosphere created by objects and typical products offered. You can find glass ornaments, wood and ceramics, handmade gift ideas and valuable, delis of Asiago and natural products.

The approach of the immaculate conception will be greeted by traditional and expectedbig Christmas tree lightingceremony, Sunday 4 December at 17.00 hours.

From San Rocco, the Troika with Santa Claus will reach Risorgimento Square II, accompanied by children of Asiago and the Folk Band "Magnifica Comunità di Folgaria" that will enliven the atmosphere with songs and melodies traditional festivities. In Piazza Risorgimento II will take place the magical moment of turning on the big Christmas tree, whose flashing lights will race with the cascade of fireworks from the Bell Tower of the Town Hall. The evening will continue at a gentle pace with magical notes given by the children's choir of theIstituto Comprensivo Statale di Asiago and cups of hot chocolate prepared for everyone from parents and teachers of the School Queen Margrethe's childhood.
