This live webcam of Asiago.it, installed at the beautiful Malga Campo Costalunga, shows a spectacular view of the central basin of the Asiago plateau.
The hut is located along the path of Master Patrick, in Cima Ekar, a mountain south-east of the city of Asiago, on whose summit there is one of the observation stations of the Asiago Astrophysical Observatory, founded and managed by the University of Padua. 

From here the view is wide and splendid: we see, with a single glance, all Asiago, with the Military Memorial of Leiten that stands out clearly in the foreground, then on the right stands out well the runway of the airport of Asiago, then you can see the beginning of the country of Gallium, of which you can see in the distance the trampoline of the Pakstall; on the left instead stand out, with their bell towers, Camporovere, and above the Forte Interrotto, Roana, Canove, Mezzaselva, Treschè Conca and, finally, Rotzo.
In addition to the villages of the plateau, you can admire the mountains behind them, such as Monte Zebio, Mosciagh, Interrotto, Portule, Verena, Monte Erio and Campolongo. 

Thanks to the live images of the webcam, in summer it is also possible to see part of the lawn where the hut has tables, benches and umbrellas for its guests. So we taste, even from afar, the peace and serenity of this place, where it is nice to spend carefree and relaxing days away from the summer heat.

Malga Campo Costalunga in Cima Ekar is a typical malghiva stone structure, managed for over twenty years by the Azienda Agricola Basso Modesto e Giordano, which for two generations has been involved in the breeding of dairy cows, respecting nature and biological cycles.

The genuine milk produced in the hut is transformed by the Pennar dairy into delicious mountain cheese.

From 2021 Malga Campo Costalunga is open to the public as a farmhouse. Here we serve platters based on cold cuts and cheeses and traditional mountain dishes, simple and tasty, in the preparation of which meat, eggs and vegetables of own production are used, as well as cheeses from the Pennar Dairy. A good sandwich or a nice slice of homemade cake is also a great choice if you prefer a quicker stop.

Spending a few hours, or even the whole day, at Malga Campo Costalunga, also taking advantage of the deckchairs made available to customers, is a regenerating experience: here the air is pure and fresh, the view of the central basin of the plateau is spectacular, the colors are vivid and the sound of cowbells grazing cows is a very relaxing background. 

At children's disposal also a small area with games and a lawn, behind the hut, equipped with small football goals.

Malga Campo Costalunga, moreover, is located along the emotional path, known as the Itinerary of Master Patrizio, and near the Astrophysical Observatory of Cima Ekar, thus representing an excellent stopping point for those who go to discover these places.
