Saturday, August 6, 2022, in Roana on the Plateau of the Seven Municipalities, will take place at 21:00 the 12th edition of the Vaca Mora: the night race on the Old Railway.

The Vaca Mora, organized by the Proloco of Canove, Cesuna and Treschè Conca in collaboration with the National Carabinieri Association, is a non-competitive running event of 10 km on the route of the Old Railway, starting from Campiello and arriving in Canove di Roana.

THE PROGRAM

• from 09:00 to 17:00 – Registration and bib collection at the Pro Loco of Treschè Conca
• from 18:00 to 20:30 – Bib collection at the start in Campiello (no new registrations!)
• 21:00 – Departure 12^at VACA MORA km. 10
• 22:00 - Start of pasta party at the new Palazzetto di Canove
• 23:00 - Awards ceremony at the new Palazzetto di Canove

Early departures will be excluded from the final classification. The event will be held in all weather conditions.

In this^12th edition, due to the fire danger due to the drought emergency and due to the recommendations of the Fire Prevention Section of the Forestry Corps, the race will not be lit by torches along the way.  The organizing committee composed of the three Pro Loco of Canove, Cesuna and Treschè Conca therefore warns the athletes that it will be necessary to bring a front pile or a torch.  

ENROLLMENT

• € 17,00 by 31 July
• € 20.00 from 1 to 6 August (Saturday 6 August only at the Pro Loco of Treschè Conca by 17:00)
• It will not be possible to register in the race field!
• Registrations will close with 700 members

BIB COLLECTION

The bibs can be collected SATURDAY 6 AUGUST at Pro Loco Treschè Conca from 9:00 to 17:00 and on departure from 18:00 to 20:00.

TRANSPORT

Pre-race from Canove di Roana from 6.30 pm, last race at 7.30 pm, the athletes will not return to Campiello after the race. For safety reasons, athletes are invited to park their cars in the centers of Canove and Tresche Conca, the organization declines all responsibility for damage to people and things before, during and after the event.
