Sunday, October 2 , 2022 will be held the 19th edition of the Festival of Transhumance and typical products of Alta Padovana in San Pietro in Gu with the participation of Malga Camporossignolo.

The Municipality of San Pietro in Gu, with the collaboration of the Pro Loco Guadense, the patronage of the Veneto Region and the Province of Padua, organizes the traditional event that celebrates the passage of cattle on the return from the summer season and the typical products of Alta Padovana. 

Strong points of the event are in fact "Riva 'e vache", with the parade of cattle through the streets of the village, "El Marcà", with an exhibition of typical local products and crafts, farm animals, agricultural machinery, "Food stand" that offers bull on the spit. 

There will also be street artists, demonstration of how to produce the cheese "La Tosella", with free tasting, and closing of the event with mulled wine.

THE PROGRAM

From 9:00 to 17:30, "El Marcà" - Exhibition of typical local products, artistic crafts, agricultural machines and tools, farm animals.

At 12:00, Awards - Greeting of the Administration and delivery of the awards to the breeders.

From 14:30 to 16:00, La Tosella - Practical demonstration of how it is produced, with free tasting by Lattebusche.

From 9:00 to 12:00 and from 15:00 to 17:30, Photo Exhibition "Echoes of Transhumance", at the Municipal Cultural Center - Museum of The Springs. Free admission.

From 10:00 to 11:00, "Riva 'e vache" - Arrival of the herd of the Agr. Nicolin and folk parade along the streets of the village.

From 12:30 to 14:30, Food Stand - Specialties: Bull on the spit by the Pro Loco Guadense

At 16:00, Show "A magician, a bicycle and Clown Crispy" - Laughter for all!

At 17:30, Vin Brulè at the end of the event.
