32nd International wood carving town of Asiago, from 20 to August 27, 2014

From 20 to 27 August 2014 in the municipality of Asiago will host the 32nd edition of the international competition of outdoor wood carving town of Asiago.

The competition involved thirteen sculptors, Italians and, working outdoors, day by day, under the gaze of passers-by, will implement its sculpture from a pine trunk pine or a Panel.

The entire procedure will take place under the eyes of everyone in the main streets and squares of the old town and country, so visitors can contemplate the skillful art of sculptors and admire the works take shape little by little.

Wednesday, August 27 at 2014 hours 16.00 at the gardens of Piazza Carli, Asiago, the award ceremony of the competition. The competition will be two winners, one decreed by the jury, and whose work will become part of the heritage of the Municipality of Asiago; While the other decided by the jury, who will assign the prize named after Joe From Ave, a silver plaque with the symbol of the Town of Asiago. Popular voting will be carried out through preference tab, to be delivered to the Office IAT before 11.00 on August 27, 2014.
