Visit and historical insights about telescopes of the Observatory of Asiago Cima Ekar

At 14.30 is scheduled an interesting guided tour organised by theAsiago Astrophysical Observatory at domes of telescopes Copernicus, the largest optical telescope on the national soil, and Schmidt of Cima Ekar (a 15-minute drive from the Centre of Asiago).
Thanks to thefeature article on the history of the two telescopes by the astronomer and historian of science Matthew Rabbetts of Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, you will learn many interesting facts about these two tools astronomical.
