MASSIMO BUBOLA

Massimo Bubola is a songwriter and one of the most important of Italy, central figure in the music scene in our country. In the more than 30 years of his career, he composed twenty albums and wrote more than 300 songs.

Already in the late ' 70 Bubola it instils in his songs the power of language of rock, without sacrificing poetics that is drinking, as well as to contemporary poetry, the tradition of folk music and Italian songwriters. By mixing these elements get to develop a musical formula rich in literary influences that has been defined by critics "art-rock". It is no coincidence that the only folk-rock album by Fabrizio De André: "Rimini" and "the Indian", results from the decisive contribution Massimo Bubola creative singer-songwriter genovese, with which, in fact, signature music and lyrics of all songs of the two albums mentioned above.

But the veronese poet and musician continues to develop a personal journey that will lead him to the creation of an epic song through musical portraits of historical figures as Garibaldi, red shirts and Uruguay, Tina for the great photographer Tina Modotti, Dino Campana devoted to unfortunate poet from Marradi and other characters such as the Russian writer Dostoevsky in Dostoevsky, Annie Hannah on Anne Frank , Nisus and Euryalus its two soldiers of the Aeneid transposed in resistance, Fiume Sand Creek on the native American epic, A wrong story about the death of Pier Paolo Paolini and Don Raffae again with Fabrizio on the relationship between the State and the Camorra, Son of the legendary brigand romagnolo 800 Lakshmi Chandrashekar. This epic rock, daughter of Italian traditions, forms the backbone of the New Italian Epic whose maximum can be called a good title the progenitor.

He also wrote many songs brought to success by several performers, including "the sky of Ireland", made popular by Fiorella Mannoia.

In 2009 he published "Rhapsody of the lowlands" her first novel that is like a long folk rock ballad, written by a rhapsode fifty with the amplifier of its classicism and its heretical gratitude.

Lift up your hearts, Max's latest work is characterized by l' emotional intensity. Beyond the poetry of the lyrics, the beauty of the melodies of his ballads and sounds made by prestigious vintage guitars, what is striking is that strong interpretive figure that makes Bubola a unique artist in our view.
The album lift up your hearts, which can be defined as a series of Instant Songs, is characterized by a strong moral and civil tension, in fact the disc was inspired by episodes that really happened in our country in recent times.Bubola massimo
