"Back on the great war and the memory of the heroic soldiers of the Sassari Brigade", 30-31 July 2016 Altopiano di Asiago

Saturday 30 and Sunday 31 July 2016 is planning a major event entitled "Return of the plateau, the great war and the memory of the heroic soldiers of the Sassari Brigade", where you can participate in a guided tour of the Shrine of Asiago, where lie the remains of thousands of soldiers who fell during World War I, attend the Holy Mass on the Monte Zebio and listen to the concert of the brass band of the Sassari Brigade.

It is a commemoration to remember the contribution that brought the Sassari Brigade in the events of the great war.

The event is organized by the Regional defence forces Command North of Padua in collaboration with the municipality of Asiago, theAssociation Ta Pum and the Sardinian Associations Federation in Italy.

Will feature the band of the Sassari Brigade.

PROGRAM "BACK ON THE PLATEAU"

SATURDAY 30 JULY 2016

• guided tours at the war memorial by the 3rd Army Museum-Leiten
  
• at 17.30 hours in old town to Asiago the concert with the band of the Sassari Brigade;
  
• at 21.00 in Piazza Carli the play "" based on the book by Emilio Lussu;

SUNDAY 31 JULY 2016

• 8.30 a.m. ascent to Monte Zebio free along the paths of CAI 832 and 832b, or accompanied by the Guide Association plateau (with contribution of euro 5 adults, 3 € children under 15 years). Click on for more details
  
• 10.30 a.m. at Monte Zebio will host the wreath laying at the cemetery of the Sassari Brigade and the Holy Mass. At the end of the concert band of the Sassari Brigade and the Schola Cantorum San Matteo di Asiago.
  
• At 20.00 hours at the marquee in Gallio presentation of the documentary "Ta Pum the path of memoryand of the initiative 'Cultivates the seeds of non ti scordar di me", the flower of remembrance, lest we forget "by Walter Pilo;
  
• At 21.00 in Gallio Massimo Bubola concert "Il testamento del Capitano".
  

Important!

• The ascent to monte Zebio Sunday morning media is allowed only until 8.00. Up to 15.00 the traffic along the road for Malga Zebio will be allowed only to authorized vehicles.
  
• In case of bad weather the program will undergo the following variations:
  -the concert scheduled at 17.30 on Saturday with the Banda della Brigata Sassari will be held at the Church of San Rocco
  -I play on Saturday at 21.00 hours will be held at Teatro Millepini
  -The deposition of the Crown and the Holy mass will be held at 10.30 at the War Memorial.
