Morning walk with Asiago Guide in Roana, on the occasion of "HOGA ZAIT - THE FESTIVAL CIMBRO®"
On the morning of Sunday, July 19, 2020,on the occasion of the third and final day of the second weekend of"HOGA ZAIT - THE FESTIVAL CIMBRO®", will be organized a suggestive guided excursion to Robaan,or Roana,on thePlateau of the Seven Municipalities.
The walk will take you to discover the wonderful places of the cimbra tradition,on the edge of the thematic hunting stories.
The easy excursion will be conducted safely by professional guides from AsiagoGuide and will last about three hours, departing at 9.30am and arriving around 1pm.
EXCURSION DETAILS
From an early age, birds were taught to distinguish from song, to know and respect the periods of love, to study the movements of the wild to catch them at the appropriate time.
Hunting, an art of the past that we will try to make known by admiring the landscape
among the gentle slopes of Roana also helped by the Latin poem "Fringuelleide" inspired by these mountains.
The presence of game in our forests has been a small aid to the poor diet of mountaineers for centuries. Often they were the only proteins available besides those of milk and cheese...

The route is looping and does not present any particular technical difficulties. It develops between mountain trails and dirt roads. The uphill difference is less than 300
there are no exposed strokes.
To take with you: mountain boots, layered clothing suitable for the mountain climate, windproof waterproof jacket, water for the duration of the excursion
(at least 1 litre), possibly a small snack such as dried fruit, sunscreen, sunglasses, cap.
Venue:9.30 a.m. at the Parking Lot of Piazza Santa Giustina, 37, Roana VI.
Important:
Reservations are required for all Hogazait 2020 activities
organizational and security management purposes (all activities are free until available places are exhausted).
In case of bad weather the event will be postponed to 24/25/26 July.
