On Tuesday 8 August 2023, the Pro Loco of Camporovere invites you to participate in an interesting guided excursion: "Camporovere between history and nature".

The walk will start at 17 :00 from the parking lot of the Larici Village in Camporovere di Roana, which will be the meeting point for all participants, and will continue until about 20:00.

It will be possible to immerse yourself in the historical and naturalistic richness of Camporovere thanks to the expert accompaniment of Asiago Guide.

Step by step you will venture into a suggestive forest of firs and beeches that will frame the stories of the guide on legends and popular culture. Höll, Perbala, Rasta... Stories of pagan cults, bears and hunters, ancient crafts and well-deserved rest, animals, trees and popular beliefs will make you discover the Asiago plateau in a new light. 

This will be the setting to discover a landscape that borders between reality and the world of Cimbrian legends.

INS AND OUTS

MEETING POINT: 5.00 pm at the parking lots of the Larici Village in Camporovere di Roana - We start on foot from the meeting place.

DIFFICULTY: we assign a difficulty 2 on a scale from 1 (very easy) to 5 (challenging).
The route is circular and does not present particular technical difficulties, it develops between mountain paths and dirt roads. The difference in height uphill is less than 250 m, there are no exposed sections. 

TO BRING WITH YOU: mountain boots, layered clothing suitable for the mountain climate, waterproof jacket, water for the duration of the excursion (at least 1 liter), a small snack such as dried fruit, sunscreen, hat, sunglasses. 

COST: 5 € for the guided excursion (free for residents in the Municipality of Roana)
