Morning walk with Asiago Guide in Cesuna, on the occasion of "HOGA ZAIT - THE FESTIVAL CIMBRO®"
On Saturday, July 18, 2020, there will be a suggestive guided excursion to Kan-Zane,or the beautiful Cesuna,on the occasion of"HOGA ZAIT - THE FESTIVAL CIMBRO®".
The walk of the day, in particular, will have as thematic stories of herbs and will take you to discover the wonderful places of the cimbra tradition.
The easy excursion will be conducted safely by professional guides from AsiagoGuide and will last about three hours, departing at 9.30am and arriving around 1pm.
EXCURSION DETAILS
Kraut has been for centuries, along with Asiago cheese, the main component of the Cimbri diet: a mystique of raw or cooked herbs, dry or in soup, simple or seasoned... but never equals it twice in a row.
"It was characteristic of good housewife" - writes a professor of botany at the University of Turin - "knowing at least a hundred herbs to put on the plate".
Herbs to eat, to heal, to help animals, to bless and bring good luck... many uses sedimented over the centuries that we will try to tell you about in the excursion between the meadows and the woods of Cesuna.

The route is looping and does not present any particular technical difficulties. It develops between mountain trails and dirt roads. The uphill difference is less than 250
there are no exposed strokes.
To take with you: mountain boots, layered clothing suitable for the mountain climate, windproof waterproof jacket, water for the duration of the excursion
(at least 1 litre), possibly a small snack such as dried fruit, sunscreen, sunglasses, cap.
Meeting place: 9.30 a.m. at the Pala Ciclamino - Cesuna Square: Old Station Street, 9, Cesuna (VI).
We leave on foot from the meeting place.

Reservations are required for all Hogazait 2020 activities
