This year, for Ferragosto, the Pro Loco of Canove invites you to a special guided excursion in the Plateau of the 7 Municipalities: "Ferragosto in Boscosecco", which will offer you a unique experience in nature.
The appointment is for Tuesday 15 August 2023 in Campomulo (Gallium) at 10:00 am at the bar of the refuge.
From there, under the expert guidance of Asiago Guide, you will embark on a walk through sparse woods that leave room for numerous clearings grazed by sheep, trenches that mix the history of the first and second world wars, views never seen by most of the visitors of our mountains ... Along paths full of surprises and curiosities, we will arrive in one of the most hidden corners of the Seven Municipalities, Malga Bosco Secco, where we will spend a few hours in company.
The return is scheduled for 16:00.
The event is limited, with a maximum of 25/30 participants, in order to guarantee a better experience for everyone. Reservations are required by the day before.
The cost of participation is € 5 for all participants aged 6 and over, while the excursion is free for residents.
In addition, you have the possibility to book lunch in Boscosecco (the cost of lunch must be paid directly on site at the pro loco).
INS AND OUTS
MEETING POINT: 10.00 am Bar of the Campomulo Refuge
DIFFICULTY: we assign a difficulty 3 on a scale from 1 (very easy) to 5 (challenging). The route is a ring and does not present particular technical difficulties. It develops between mountain paths and dirt roads. The difference in height uphill is less than 300 m, there are no exposed sections. Please note that not all telephone companies have reception at the meeting point.
TO TAKE WITH YOU: MOUNTAIN BOOTS, LAYERED CLOTHING SUITABLE FOR THE MOUNTAIN CLIMATE, WATERPROOF JACKET, WATER FOR THE DURATION OF THE EXCURSION (AT LEAST 1 liter), a small snack such as dried fruit, hat, any sunscreen.
COST: 5 € for the guided excursion (free for residents in the Municipality of Roana)
