Saturday 15 July 2023, at 10:00 am, the exhibition "The Train of Memories - NOSTALGIA OF THE MAGICAL ROCCHETTE LINE - ASIAGO" will be inaugurated, set up at the War Museum 1915-1918 in Canove di Roana.
During the morning of the inauguration admission will be free.
The exhibition, which will be open until September 15, 2023, is dedicated to the old Piovene Rocchette-Asiago railway, which, with a daring path, once connected the Asiago Seven Municipalities plateau to the plain.
The railway line was 21.190 km long and had one of the most challenging gradients in Italy. On its tracks, he "climbed", puffing a train with a steam locomotive, which in popular jargon was called "Vaca mora".
The exhibition will be open during the opening hours of the museum, namely:
Until 15 September: every day 10.00-12.30 | 15.00-18.30 (last admission 30 minutes before closing time)
