On Saturday 19 and Sunday 20 September 2026, Malga Col del Vento in Cesuna di Roana will be the Veneto reference point for "Italia a Cavallo", a nationwide initiative promoted by the Italian Federation of Equestrian Tourism TREC (FITETREC-ANTE).
Now in its fourth edition, the event involves the national territory at the same time: on the same days, the FITETREC-ANTE Regional Committees propose horseback riding events in the various regions designed to promote the knowledge and enhancement of the Italian naturalistic, historical and cultural heritage. The initiative is also part of the context of the activities related to World Tourism Day, emphasizing the value of equestrian tourism as a form of slow and respectful discovery of the territories.
For the Veneto Region, Malga Col del Vento will accompany horse riding enthusiasts, offering two days on horseback through the mountain landscapes of the Asiago Plateau. An opportunity to experience the area from a particular perspective, following paths immersed in nature.
The program alternates excursions in the saddle with moments to spend at the malga. Saturday includes a walk of about three hours, with an intermediate aperitif , followed by dinner; on Sunday we will return to the saddle for an outing of about two hours, before lunch at Malga Col del Vento.
"Italia a Cavallo" thus represents a weekend dedicated to equestrian tourism and knowledge of the territory, which will offer the opportunity to explore the uncontaminated environments of the Plateau in the saddle, among paths, mountain landscapes and the quiet of open spaces.

- For Saturday, the fee is € 40 and includes horseback riding, aperitif and dinner at the hut.
