On Sunday 1 October 2023 Malga Mazze Inferiore will undertake the traditional transhumance of its cows. After spending the summer in the mountain pastures, the animals will stop for a period of grazing in Val Giardini, in Asiago, before returning to their stables.

The departure is scheduled for 9.00 am from the hut, located in Mazzette di Lugo (Vicenza), near Monte Corno.

It is expected that the herd reaches Asiago around 11:30/11:45. The route will cross the heart of the city: Via Autieri, Via Matteotti, Piazza della Pesa, Via Marconi with arrival and stop in Piazza II Risorgimento for the delivery of the bell by the municipal administration. It will then start again along Via Brigata Liguria and Via dei Cinque.

Finally, at 12:00/12:15, the cows will enter the pasture of Val Giardini.
