On Saturday 6 December 2025 , the Biosphaera Guides are organizing an evening excursion in Val Magnaboschi on the occasion of the full moon and in collaboration with the Alpine Bar Refuge.
Starting from the Sacello di Sant'Antonio in Val Magnaboschi, near which you can leave your cars, we will soon reach the Zona Sacra del Fante, where the Italian troops blocked the Austrian soldiers during the Battle of the Plateaus and where there are two war cemeteries, one of which is English.
You will then enter the woods, where you can discover the secrets of trees and the animals that populate it and listen to the Cimbrian legends set in these territories.
Once at the Alpine Refuge Bar, you will enjoy a delicious typical dinner, before taking the way back, accompanied by the glow of the full moon.
The excursion will be led by Luca Grotto, Environmental Hiking Guide and historian.
In case of snow, the excursion will take place using snowshoes or crampons.
MEETING POINT
Parking in Val Magnaboschi (after the Osteria al Cacciatore), via Magnaboschi - Cesuna di Roana (VI).
PRICE
The cost is 20 euros per person, 10 euros for children under 15 years old.
DINNER
Dinner at the Alpine Bar Refuge will cost 25 euros (payable directly at the refuge) and will include:
- Shared cold cuts and cheese platters
- First course of your choice (vegetarian option possible)
- Sweet
- Water
- Coffee
EQUIPMENT
Please indicate in the notes during registration if you wish to rent snowshoes (at a cost of 10 euros) if snow conditions allow their use.
The rental of snowshoes must be communicated no later than 48 hours before the excursion for organizational reasons.
