Saturday 5 August 2023, you can try a truly unique experience: trekking with donkeys to discover the tour of the Malghe di Caltrano, between breathtaking views and green pastures, where cows happily graze the tender mountain grass full of flowers and aromatic herbs that give the cheeses a unique taste.

The excursion will start at Malga Serona with a rich breakfast of freshly milked mountain milk, tea, coffee and a slice of cake.

After breakfast we will leave at a donkey's pace for an excursion of medium difficulty of about 6 km and 200 meters in altitude lasting about 2.5 hours between paths and paved roads with little traffic where children can take turns riding donkeys and adults can lead them with the head.

At the end of the excursion we will return to Malga Serona where for those who want it will be possible to have lunch in the hut at the list menu tasting cheeses and typical local products of the hut.

DIFFERENCE IN ALTITUDE: 200 m

LENGTH: about 7 km

TO TAKE ON AN EXCURSION: MOUNTAIN BOOTS, LONG TROUSERS, LAYERED CLOTHING, HAT AND SUNSCREEN. Do not forget water for the entire duration of the excursion (at least 1.5 liters) as there are no water supply points along the way.

COST: € 20,00 adults - € 15,00 children under 15 years

The price includes breakfast in the mountain hut.

The route does not allow the use of strollers.
