Thursday, August 24, 2023, the Pro Loco of Mezzaselva, in collaboration with Asiago Guide, organizes a beautiful and exciting evening excursion entitled "Mezzaselva by candlelight", which will take us to discover the country and its districts ... Trujo, Schneidar, Tökkalar, Pajazzen...  

By candlelight, along an easy path, you will touch places often forgotten, capable of giving great emotions. 

As the sun goes down behind the Little Dolomites, the candles will light up, as for centuries and centuries the mountaineers have done to cross the border with Trentino with the favor of darkness ...  Smuggling salt and tobacco with Tyrol through these districts was fundamental for life in our mountains: step by step the stories of these men of the past will keep you company in the woods of Mezzaselva.

The route is recommended for children of at least 7 years.

INS AND OUTS

MEETING POINT: 20: 30 at the headquarters of the Pro Loco of Mezzaselva (Piazza Cimbri, 21)

DIFFICULTY: we assign a difficulty 2 on a scale from 1 (very easy) to 5 (challenging). The route is a ring and does not present particular technical difficulties. It develops between mountain paths and dirt roads. The difference in height uphill is less than 200 m, there are no exposed sections.

TO TAKE WITH YOU: mountain boots, layered clothing suitable for the mountain climate, waterproof jacket, water for the duration of the excursion (at least 1 liter), a small snack such as dried fruit.
