On Tuesday 22 August 2023, you can immerse yourself in the natural wonders of Mezzaselva, participating in the guided excursion, organized by the Pro Loco, "Postcard panoramas in Mezzaselva".
From 9:30 to 12:30, accompanied by Asiago Guides, you will walk through meadows, pastures, woods and districts.
As the population grew on the plateau, the woods were cut down by opening new clearings and building new districts characterized not only by more or less colorful names of some family, but also by precise identifications to indicate a certain profession present in the town. Around the ancient Toballe, we find in the maps the localities Trujo, Schneidar, Tökkalar, Pajazzen... Walking along an easy path, we will touch these often forgotten places, but capable of giving us a mountain of emotions with views as beautiful as they are unknown.
Along the way, you will have the opportunity to admire postcard views and listen to fascinating stories from the guide about the places you will cross.

MEETING: 9: 30 am at the headquarters of the Pro Loco of Mezzaselva
DIFFICULTY: we assign a difficulty 2 on a scale from 1 (very easy) to 5 (challenging). The route is a ring and does not present particular technical difficulties. It develops between mountain paths and dirt roads. The difference in height uphill is less than 200 m, there are no exposed sections. Please note that not all telephone companies have reception at the meeting point.
TO BRING WITH YOU: mountain boots, layered clothing suitable for the mountain climate, waterproof jacket, water for the duration of the excursion (at least 1 liter), a small snack such as dried fruit, hat, any sunscreen.
COST: 5 € for the guided excursion (free for residents in the Municipality of Roana)
