Friday, August 25, 2023, you can immerse yourself in the natural wonders of Roana, participating in the guided excursion, organized by the Pro Loco, "Postcard views in Roana".

From 9:30 to 12:30, accompanied by Asiago Guides, you will undertake an easy walk through meadows, pastures and woods, also discovering the ancient districts of Roana, for paths little or not at all known.
You will discover a little-frequented area of Roana in front of Mount Interrupted and its Fort that acts as a sentinel, and climbing through the districts of the past, you can follow with your eyes the course of the Valdassa that opens towards the Small Dolomites. 

You will be accompanied by stories of men and animals, stories of a territory and a special environment like the plateau that, in its most hidden corners, gives the best of itself.

Reservations are required.

INS AND OUTS

MEETING POINT: 9:30 am in Piazza Giustina in Roana (in front of the Pro Loco). It starts on foot from the meeting place.

DIFFICULTY: we assign a difficulty 2 on a scale from 1 (very easy) to 5 (challenging). The route is a ring and does not present particular technical difficulties. It develops between mountain paths and dirt roads. The difference in height uphill is less than 200 m, there are no exposed sections. Please note that not all telephone companies have reception at the meeting point.

TO TAKE WITH YOU: MOUNTAIN BOOTS, LAYERED CLOTHING SUITABLE FOR THE MOUNTAIN CLIMATE, WATERPROOF JACKET, WATER FOR THE DURATION OF THE EXCURSION (AT LEAST 1 liter), a small snack such as dried fruit, hat, any sunscreen.
