
As part of the usual literary review of Forte Corbin, in Treschè Conca di Roana, on Saturday 30 August 2025, at 4:30 pm, Alessandro Lancellotti will present his book "The 50 years of the votive church of the Grenadiers of Sardinia".
The work was recently published on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the votive church located on Monte Cengio to commemorate the deeds of the Grenadiers of Sardinia during the First World War.
Inside there are the deeds of the bold Grenadiers who stopped the Strafexpedition in May and June 1916, the stories of the gold medals listed the rallies that have taken place in the Vicenza area since 1938. The book, accompanied by many photos, was published by the National Association of Grenadiers of Sardinia.
Alessandro Lancellotti, born in Vicenza in 1982, is a freelance journalist with a degree in history and anthropology, a collaborator of the Giornale di Vicenza. He did his military service at the 1st Grenadier Regiment in Rome (one of the last classes). He has always been passionate about the history of sport and military history.
