Saturday 5 August 2017, at the Queen's Park Brigade of Asiago, commonly known by the name of Park Millepini, there will be a meeting in memory of Queen's Brigade.
The commemoration ceremony will start at 17.00, at the Monument to the winged victory. It will be a moment of strip in memory of the fallen, but also an opportunity to admire the restored Monument.
The Winged Victory monument is dedicated to the Queen's Brigade and was inaugurated on Sunday 16 October 1921 in the presence of General Garba. Statue, Bronze Star and two cannons were forged with lion protomes Austrians seized in Valbella, the statue's sculptor Turillo Sindoni.
Afterwards, the trumpets of Pinerolo Brigade marching band will ring in a really exciting concert .
The event is part of the program of "Asiago: learn, remember, hand down," project designed to encourage reflection on the theme of the great war and make known the places and characters of the first world war.
