"ASIAGO: LEARN, REMEMBER, HAND DOWN"-project of reflection about the great war in Asiago

In celebration of the centenary of the great war, from 3 to 6 August 2017, in Asiago held "ASIAGO: LEARN, REMEMBER, HAND DOWN".

It is a project of the municipality of Asiago, conceived in collaboration with the Operational Forces Command North, which includes a series of events on the theme of the great war, in order to reveal to the general public the places and countries that have been the protagonists of the first world war.

In the four days of "ASIAGO: LEARN, REMEMBER, HAND DOWN", theAltopiano dei Sette Comuni will be the protagonist of a historical review of World War I, bringing back to memory facts and characters that are part of the history of that period, to remember the soldiers who have sacrificed their lives for their country.

A project that has the goal of telling not to forget, to defend and pass on a wealth of national and collective memory that underpin the identity of our country.

The Leitmotiv of the project is the theme of "Conflict": we will study the causes and consequences of the great war on soldiers, citizens and territories, thanks to various initiatives that will bring these up to empathize with those who combatterno a century ago for freedom on the plateau.

Will set up the play "barbed nel cuore" and, moreover, you can visit the Shrine of Asiago and routes of Trenches accompanied by associations, including: friends of the Museum of the third army, STAGES and historical Reenactors "lest we forget".
