On Friday, July 28 , 2023, get ready to live an adventure out of the ordinary. The Pro Loco of Mezzaselva, together with Asiago Guide, invite you to the guided excursion "SelvArt & Stonhaus: legendary places", which will lead you to discover sites full of charm, mystery and beauty.

Along ancient paths traced by the German settlers who inhabited these mountains, you will reach a grandiose karst chasm, identified as the "stone house", Stonhaus precisely. 

You will listen to the legends that speak of this place and its magical inhabitants, of the carved stone bridge that connects its banks, of the voices that rise from the depths of the ground ...  

The route continues, along paths recently arranged and equipped, up to the park of SelvArt where a series of artistic installations, the work of Marco Martalar and other sculptors, give new life to the wood of our woods, a magical place where art and nature come together in an unforgettable union.

INS AND OUTS

MEETING: 9: 30 am at the headquarters of the Pro Loco of Mezzaselva - Moving with own necessary means.

DIFFICULTY: we assign a difficulty 2 on a scale from 1 (very easy) to 5 (challenging).
The route is a ring and does not present particular technical difficulties. It develops between mountain paths and dirt roads. The difference in height uphill is less than 250 m, there are no exposed sections. Please note that not all telephone companies have reception at the meeting point. 

TO BRING WITH YOU: mountain boots, layered clothing suitable for the mountain climate, waterproof jacket, water for the duration of the excursion (at least 1 liter), a small snack such as dried fruit, hat, any sunscreen.

COST: 5 € for the guided excursion (free for residents in the Municipality of Roana)
