On the afternoons of Friday 8, Saturday 9 and Sunday 10 and Saturday 16 and Sunday 17 December 2023, in the enchanted atmosphere of the Gallio Christmas Markets, in Piazza Italia, under the curious and admiring gaze of passers-by, a truly unique event will be held: the Advent Sculpture Symposium, in which the magic of Christmas will meet art, highlighting the mastery of local sculptors.
The centre of Gallio will become the stage for an ancient and fascinating art: among the Christmas houses, sculptors and wood craftsmen will work hard carving wood which , under their expert hands, will be transformed into exciting Advent works.

The highlights of the Advent Sculpture Symposium 2023 in Gallium
Saturday 9 December, 6:00 pm
The Advent Sculpture Project, the protagonist of the square throughout the festive period, will be unveiled.
This will be followed by the lighting ceremony of the Gallium Christmas Tree, followed by a chestnut festival.
Saturday 23 December, 5:00 pm
The "Sculpture of the Birth" will finally be unveiled to the public!
We remind you that the Gallio Christmas Market is back again this year with its characteristic wooden chalets, full of handicrafts and local products and creations of all kinds. The sparkling lights, bright colors, authentic flavors and enveloping scents typical of the Christmas period will animate Gallio from Friday 8 December 2023 to Sunday 7 January 2024 (for info on opening days and hours click HERE).
