As part of the calendar of "Su, in Malga!", the summer festival promoted by the Municipality of Gallio to enhance the culture of the mountain pastures, on Friday 8 August 2025, from 15:30 to 18:00, a special afternoon is scheduled at Malga Larici di Sotto, in the splendid Larici locality, one of the most evocative of the Asiago Plateau.
Framed between the majestic peaks of Portule and Larici and overlooking the spectacular overhangs of Cima Verena, Malga Larici looks like a true pearl of the plateau. What makes it unique are its panoramic position, the pastures rich in biodiversity and the quality of its dairy products, among which the renowned Asiago PDO stands out.
Participants will be accompanied on a guided tour that will take them to get to know the life of the malga and its protagonists: the animals, the malga and the daily rhythms of the mountain pasture. Together with the malga Sara, you can watch the milking and discover curiosities and practices related to cheese production, and then conclude the experience with a tasting at sunset, among the profiles of the Little Dolomites. For the tasting there is a small contribution (€ 5 per person) to be paid on site.

The route does not present any particular technical difficulties, is suitable for everyone and develops between dirt roads and mountain paths. The uphill elevation gain is less than 200 m, there are no exposed sections.
🎒TO BRING ALONG: mountain boots, layered clothing suitable for the mountain climate, waterproof jacket, backpack with water for the duration of the excursion, a small snack such as dried fruit, sunscreen, sunglasses, hat.
