As per tradition, this year the lighting ceremony of the large Asiago Christmas tree coincides with the feast of the Immaculate Conception, a day that projects us into the heart of the Christmas season.
On Friday, December 8, 2023, at 5:00 p.m., the parade will start from the Church of San Rocco which, accompanied by the Isola Vicentina Band and the Ski Instructors of the Ski Schools of the Plateau, will arrive in Piazza II Risorgimento.
Here those present will be enraptured by the magical moment of the lighting of the Christmas tree and the magnificent cascade of fireworks from the bell tower of the Town Hall.
The evening will be enlivened with Christmas carols by the children of the primary school of the Patrizio Rigoni Comprehensive Institute.
It will also be the perfect opportunity to immerse yourself in the Christmas atmosphere in the streets of the center and among the houses of the "Christmas Gardens", the traditional Christmas markets of Asiago, which are among the most beautiful Christmas markets in Veneto and throughout Italy, with their wide choice of local handicrafts and typical agri-food products.
