Friends you know that we like to joke every now and then: it was an APRIL FOOL'S DAY! ;-)
Today, April 1, 2022, the new alkaline-sulphurous THERMAL SOURCE emerged in Asiago in the Lumera lake last February is inaugurated.
The local authorities, initially, preferred to keep the news confidential, waiting to receive the authorization of the Ministry of Health, which finally arrived in recent days with the certification of the therapeutic qualities of the Asian thermal waters.
From now on it will therefore be possible to immerse yourself in the beneficial waters of the small Asiaghese basin and enjoy a pleasant thermal bath.
As shown by numerous scientific studies, balneotherapy is a real panacea for physical and mental relaxation... then imagine combining it with healthy walks in the unspoiled nature of the Asiago Plateau! And in winter there will be the possibility to alternate the hot bath in the thermal water with the "dips" on the snow for a "Finnish sauna" effect.
A project is currently being studied to equip the area with a solarium with sun loungers and a wooden hut with showers and changing rooms, both with minimal environmental impact and so that they integrate as much as possible with the context. As well as we think of a special spa, to be carried out in another area, where thermal treatments can be administered, such as mud, aerosols and irrigation, but also wellness treatments and massages.
In short, an important project that will certainly require long execution times. Waiting to see it completed, however, we can enjoy the thermal baths at the Lumera pond, all by paying an entrance fee with a symbolic cost of € 3 per person.
