Built between 1906 and 1912, with the aim of defending the valley from possible Austro-Hungarian invasions, this defensive structure is the largest and most articulated on the plateau and represents a real open-air museum.

Thanks to the meticulous restoration carried out by the Panozzo family, the fort can be completely visited and houses an exhibition of war relics, period photographs and historical documents.
