Roana, Robaan or Rowaan in cimbro, is the most articulated of the municipalities ofthe Plateau of the Seven Municipalities. It consists, in fact, of 6 hamlets namely Camporovere, Canove, Cesuna, Mezzaselva, Roana and Tresché Conca - also called 6 Bell Towers because each hamlet has its own Parish Church.

The territory of Roana is therefore really very extensive: almost 8,000 hectares mostly covered by woods, fields, pastures and gentle slopes.

These are places located at anaverage altitude of 1000 meters above sea level,which makes Roana and its hamlets the ideal destination for a mid-mountain holiday,suitable for everyone. To characterize the territory pure air, unspoiled nature,vast views, mild climate, tranquility. But also ski resorts for downhill skiing and cross-country centers for Nordic skiing, countless trails and paths for hiking and walking or cycling, ancient traditions and a lot of history.

The municipal territory is permeated, in fact, with testimonies of the Great War,whose events hit Roana and its hamlets heavily and tragically, as well as the whole Plateau of the Seven Municipalities.
