Autumn flavours on the Asiago plateau with the third edition of Asiago Foliage

The colors, the smells, the flavors of the environment of the plateau and plateau mountains typical seasonal products will flood the historic centre of Asiago, with the third edition of ASIAGO FOLIAGE.

Saturday 21 and Sunday 22 October 2017 , savour the autumn air and magical of Asiago, a weekend dedicated to nature autumn plateau, with the Woods and meadows that are colored by becoming a hot and exciting shades palette.

There are many initiatives proposed by the municipality of Asiago for this weekend: guided walks also short walk to Centre on the edge of nature's colours and flavours of typical products; art workshops, creative, sensory and science for children, teens and adults and creations from this instrument; photo exhibition/competition with the best images on the foliage;

exhibition/market of Arts and crafts ; autumn themed wine tasting of typical dishes in the best restaurants and more.

And yet, in the streets and squares of the Center, performances of ancient crafts, trees and more.

Guided walk among the pine forests and mixed vegetation of the area south of Asiago, through clearings, contrade and the ancient Lazzaretto.

📸 ASIAGO FOLIAGE PHOTO CONTEST 📸

As part of the event "ASIAGO foliage" will be held the third edition of the photo contest connected. This year this competition will see the best picture Awards voted by the jury, but see especially the awarding of three best picture adjudicated by a technical jury that will take into account in addition to the beauty technical and quality aspects of the image.

The competition is organized by the municipality of Asiago, Department of tourism and culture, in collaboration with the Photo Club "Plateau 7 Comuni".

REGULATION

1. theme

TheAsiago plateau is one of the best places in Italy where you can admire the spectacle that mother nature offers in autumn, when the Valley of Asiago and the entire plateau-a real mosaic botanist-you "dress" of colour, light and a mood that exciting views.

Themed photo competition invites you to tell-in pictures-the fall colors on the Asiago plateau looking with new eyes, beyond the stereotypes, the phenomenon of "foliage" and the autumn glow, looking for points of view original and different looks. What is your?

2. PARTICIPATION REQUIREMENTS

The participation in the competition is open to all amateur and professional photographers, no age limit above 18 years. Are excluded from the competition jury members.
Entries can be nominated only by their author that represent and warrant that you hold all the rights in the work, which should not infringe any right of any third party or violate any law. When registering the author further represent and warrant that you have the moral and patrimonial rights of author.
 

3. conditions of participation

The participation in the competition is free.
Each participant may submit a maximum of three photographs that will participate in the contest and a photograph that will participate in the referendum.
Sending more pictures than those imposed will result in disqualification from the contest.

Images must be submitted online at a resolution of 20 x 30 to 300 dpi and in JPEG format, through , to the e-mail address or on cd sent via email or directly at the Palazzo del Turismo Millepini, via Petrarca 1, 36012 Asiago (VI) no later than Thursday, 5 October 2017. The images must be sent together with the registration form duly completed and signed, downloadable here or available at the Office of the Palazzo del Turismo Millepini.

4. technical data IMAGE

Are admitted to the competition color photographs with both vertical and horizontal shots, to show the colours and atmosphere of autumn of the Asiago plateau. Photographs must be unpublished. They may be the result of digital creations, such as brightness, contrast, or fixes exposure, including Photomontages, as long as the elements used are all works of the author. Each image must have sequence number and be titrated. The images do not meet specifications will not be considered, as per point 9.
 

5. method and time limits for delivery of PRINTED MATERIAL

All photographs Contest participants will set up a photographic exhibition staged Saturday and Sunday 21 and 22 October 2017 in tensile structure of Piazza Duomo in Asiago.
Participants are responsible for printing photographs admitted to the competition, to be printed and delivered by the authors before 9.30 on Saturday 21 August 2017 at the tensile structure of Piazza Duomo. Photographs must be printed in the dimensions of 30x45cm on matte paper and duly framed in your choice.
Participants will also have the right to an open space along the streets or squares of the old town for the duration of the event, to exhibit in their care and under its own responsibility, a maximum of 15 (fifteen) their number themed photographs out of competition, including the submitted photograph for the referendum referred to in point 3.
 

6. press

The first three photographs chosen by the jury will be awarded classified in competition with the traditional leaves "Asiago foliage 2017", gold, silver and bronze respectively.
Photography winner, first place, will also receive an award consisting of a weekend for two (with two nights in .75) in a mountain village in South Tyrol.
The photograph that will be the winner according to the jury will receive a prize consisting of a dinner for two at one of the best restaurants of the plateau.

7. AWARD CEREMONY

The awarding of three photographs chosen by the jury will take place on Sunday 22 October 2017 at 17.30 in the Council Chamber of the Town Hall of Asiago. Welcome the presence of the participants in the contest at the time of the ceremony.

8. JURY

The jury is composed of five members:

• Ernesto Jobin -professional photographer
• Antonio Cunico -President Fotoclub "the focal point"
• Rudy Gold -President photo Club "Plateau 7 Comuni"
• Samantha Malok -contemporary art expert
• Clare Stefani -head of tourism and culture of the municipality of Asiago

The decision of the jury is final and irrevocable.

9. responsibility of the author and law school EXCLUSION

Each participant is responsible for the material he submitted to the contest. Therefore agrees to exclude any responsibility of the organizers of the said third parties, also in respect of any persons depicted in the photographs. The competitor must inform any affected (people) in the cases and under the conditions provided for by Legislative Decree 30 June 2003 n. 196, and obtain consent to the dissemination of the same.
In no event shall images sent may contain data classified as sensitive. Each participant also declares to be sole author of the images sent and they are original, unpublished and not being published, which do not infringe the rights of third parties and which should portray whom you need the consent or permission he obtained.

The jury also reserves the exclusion from competition and not to expose to its shows photos don't comply in form and subject to what is stated in these regulations or commonly recognized public rules morality, ethics and decency, to protect the participants and visitors. Will not be so accepted images deemed inappropriate, offensive and/or harmful to human and social rights. Of any such exclusion of one or more photographs, the jury will give written notice to competitors interested.

The organization accepts no liability for damage to works that may occur before, during or after the event.

10. copyright and USE of MATERIAL IN COMPETITION

Rights on the photographs remain the sole property of the author who produced them, who shall authorize the use for events or publications related to the competition itself and for activities related to institutional or promotional purposes Tourism and culture Office of the municipality of Asiago, however without the profit motive. Each author is responsible of the works presented. Unless expressly forbidden wrote you authorize the Organization to playback on catalog, publications, cd and on the internet without profit and provided the author's name. Whenever they use the photos will be accompanied by the name of the author and, where possible, by any explanatory notes indicate the same. Please note that the personal information provided by entrants will be used for activities related to institutional or promotional purposes in accordance with Legislative Decree 30 June 2003 n. 196. Material submitted online will not be returned. The three prizewinning photo prints to the Organization, without prejudice to any rights of the authors mentioned above.

11. acceptance of the rules

Participation in the competition implies acceptance of these regulations.
