From 16 March to 30 June 2019, at the Museum "Prisons" of Asiago, will open the exhibition "From Regency to the reconstruction. The Store Unveiled. The great plan of reorganization and renovation of the historical archive of All of the seven municipalities and the municipality of Asiago cheese. "

The exhibition is proposed by themunicipal administration of Asiago, fromthe Department of tourism and culture and the Presidency of the City Council, thanks to the contribution of the CariVerona Foundation, in partnership with theInstitute by Cimbrian expedition and sponsored by the Regional Council of Veneto and the province of Vicenza.
The set up and the Visual communication system were treated by studio b. LAB design by Antonio and Roberto Barick, the scientific contents and materials selection were treated by the Archivist Dr. Ilaria Z , by the mountain guide, mountain guide, Philip Menegatti, and has been enriched by the valuable contributions of Dr. Banahene, from professor Tim ball, by Professor Elizabeth Garcia.

This exhibition starts from the great project of reorganization of the archival heritage of the municipality of Asiago, launched in 2009 by the municipality, through the then head of culture over the years and continued with Roberto Rigoni Stern support of the Veneto region and of the CariVerona Foundation, through the excellent work of the Archivist Dr. Giulia Turrina, carried out in close collaboration with the Soprintendenza Archivistica of Veneto and Trentino Alto Adige.

The "Archive Unveiled" is meant to be an occasion aimed at all citizens plateau, educational institutions and enthusiasts, to finally discover the important papers of the municipality of Asiago, which believed lost, and, through it, the peculiar history of our country and its institutions, from the birth of "Dear Regency of the seven towns" until the Rebuilding after the great war.

Thanks to the suggestive "timeline", held along the main corridor of the Museum "Le Carceri", through archival documents, there will be events and protagonists that have marked the history of the Asiago plateau. In adjacent rooms, will open up like a fan, as in a large book, seven main focus, relating to privileges granted to the Federation of the seven communes, the institutional structure of the Regency, the management of agro-silvo-pastoral patrimony, the important safeguard action carried out by the Regency on the northern border of the plateau, the development before the first world war, the Great war and finally the reconstruction.

The main protagonist and privileged mediums of knowledge will be the archival document, which becomes a witness of the "international" intercourse entertained over the centuries by a small, but proud Federation of municipalities, with the main protagonists Venetian history and in the relentless pursuit of maintaining their autonomy. The autonomy that, Defense for five centuries, was seen as the pivot on which lay the groundwork for a life in balance with the sensitive mountain environment, proposing an original model of Federal Government and collective management of assets agro-silvo-pastoral.

Thearchive of the Regency, the Consortium seven municipalities and the Consortium between corrupted war for reconstruction, the photographic collection "mountains", together with the documents received from the' State Archives of Venice, from' State Archives of Vicenza, Biblioteca Bertoliana., from the Fondazione Musei Civici, Galleria Internazionale d'Arte Moderna CA ' Pesaro, will testify about the milestones of a collective storytelling that unfolds over the course of seven centuries.

Starting from the first diploma of granting privileges by Mastino della Scala (1339), thanks to the rediscovery of dedication to Venice (1405), kept in the Treasury of the pacta Venetians, who collects the most important international treaties signed by the The Venetian Republic, will prove as the Federation of seven municipalities was considered a true "small State". The Register of deliberations of the Regents is presented as a privileged witness to follow the adventurous journey of the last Chancellor of the Regency Domenico Rigoni Stern, at the Court of Vienna, in an attempt to see preserved the ancient rights. You can follow in its main stages the compelling narrative of a small, great history, witnessed by important documents from the Veneto, as dominants by verbal chancelleries drafted by the notaries of the vicinie, assemblies of householders, which formed the core of the institutional political system on which you held the small Federation of seven municipalities.

Following the end of the Regency, l' archive of the consortium of seven municipalities, which inherits the important functions of agro-silvo-pastoral assets management will follow thelines of the development of the plateau in the 800 and early ' 900, with the birth of the first infrastructure and tourist vocation, also favored by the construction of the railway line.

Thealbum "mountains", made logistical purposes by Lieutenant Renzo Monti, between 1916-1918, opens an unprecedented insight into the great war, in areas of daily life and face military staging ground.

The revival from the destruction of war is documented by the project for the new municipality of Asiago and the practice followed by the Consortium for the reconstructions between corrupted war of Asiago, formed by municipal staff, which worked tirelessly to make the "new" Asiago.

"For the first time, the" treasure "our papers can be appreciated in all its forms, thanks to the important work of reorganization and the scientific contribution made by experts appointed by the Administration Hall. This is a unique opportunity to take advantage of the testimonies of that important story that each plateau has heard tell from childhood and that constitutes the Foundation of our traditions, "said the President of the City Council, Michela Rodeghiero.

The exhibition will be accompanied, throughout the period of its development, by leading and various events, fully capturing the incredible variety of topics discussed and the many facets and facets that lends the exhibition will take place a series of excursions and guided tours to "theme" by Highland guides, a series of lectures by experts and scholars who will open an in-depth debate on the many issues that are opened by documentary evidence, children's workshops will be organized, modulated by age and educational level, to bring the little ones to the world of archive and plateau cultural heritage, and, finally, will be offered also a calligraphy class, turned to fans of "beautiful writing".
