On Sunday 23 July 2023, at the end of Hoga Zait 2023, the traditional crossing of the Val d'Assa will take place.

A moment of high symbolic value of the Festival of Cimbrian Culture is represented by the historic crossing of the valley that separates Roana from Canove: for the occasion, women dress their heads with pretty floral arrangements, while men decorate their hats with sprigs of pesso and in procession cross the Val D'Assa.

The traditional walk along the ancient connecting road will be curated by Asiago Guide and will be held, as usual, during the last day of the festival, starting at 3.30 pm from Piazza San Marco in Canove, and arriving, about two hours later, in Piazza Santa Giustina in Roana.

A tradition deeply felt by the locals, which will also give tourists the opportunity to discover the beautiful territories surrounding Roana and its hamlets.
