Also this year the Municipality of Roana celebrates autumn with "Vèrben- A Train of Colors", which reaches its 4th edition and... this time doubles!

The event, in fact, will take place over two weekends: that of Saturday 8 and Sunday 9 October 2022 and the following one of Saturday 15 and Sunday 16 October. 

In the first weekend the party will be in Roana, while in the second the train of Vèrben will accompany you on the route of the Old Railway to Canove, Cesuna and Treschè Conca, with its load of stories and colors.

The first day begins in conjunction with the Festival of Santa Giustina, in the center of Roana, offering typical games of the past for children and teenagers, riddles and prize draws, to conclude with the food stand of hot drinks, dry cakes and sweets.

The second day will see as protagonists a group of re-enactors who will propose "the crafts of the past" and the typical markets, where it will be possible to buy autumn products and much more ... There will also be workshops for children (in the morning and in the afternoon on shifts); the opportunity to visit and admire the streets of the village with carriage rides and musical entertainment with Ilaria Vellar; the food stand with hot drinks, dried cakes and chestnuts; riddles and prize draw and an extraordinary traveling show, designed specifically for the occasion suitable for everyone. 

The second weekend will move to the hamlets of Canove, Cesuna and Treschè Conca with many surprises and news: bagpipe group, craft and agri-food markets, guided excursions, educational farm, photo exhibition, aperitifs and the inevitable Vèrben Train, which will take passengers to discover hidden and little-known corners of the territory, through the Strada della Vecchia Ferrovia .

In short, it will really be an event not to be missed!

VÈRBEN 2022 PROGRAM

VÈRBEN TO ROANA

For dinner on Saturday 8 October and lunch on Sunday 9 October , the restaurants of Roana offer the traditional dish QUAGLIE AND OSEI SCAPAI - by reservation only.

SATURDAY 8 OCTOBER - ROANA

2 pm - Opening of the patronal feast of Santa Giustina with typical games in collaboration with the Alpini Group - Inflatable games for children.

3 pm - "Guess the weight" / "Guess the number" / "Guess the length" (prize draw at about 5.00 pm)

Opening of the food stand with hot drinks, dried cakes and sweets

SUNDAY 09 OCTOBER - ROANA

Throughout the event on Sunday 9 October:

• Agri-food and inflatable market in the Square
• Workshops for children
• Carriage ride
• Wood carvings with Giorgio Sambugaro

9.30 am - Day of open educational farms - Veneto Region
For the occasion , free visit to the MalgAsiago educational farm in Roana - meeting in front of the Pro Loco (by reservation IAT )

10am-6pm 

• Ancient crafts - Group of re-enactors of "lavori de 'na volta" in the village square
• Inflatable games for children in the square

11.30 am - Herbest Show Cooking with chef Lorenzo De Guio, finalist at MasterChef Italia

2 pm - Opening of the food stand with hot drinks, dried cakes and chestnuts
The afternoon of celebration will be enlivened by the presence of Veila with her music (from 15.30 to 17.30)

2.30 pm - Treasure hunt with AsiagoGuide - meeting point for elementary schools parking (on reservation IAT )

3 pm - "Guess the weight" / "Guess the number" / "Guess the length" (prize draw at 17.00)

VÈRBEN A TRESCHÈ CONCA

Throughout the weekend, from 10:00 to 18:00, departure of the trains in the company of AsiagoGuide with stories during the journey on the Cimbrian legends.

3 pm - 5 pm - Workshop with Cristina  of Il Casòn delle Meraviglie at the Ex Stazione outdoor car park (reservation recommended IAT )

4.30 pm - At Forte Corbin: reading show by Carichi Sospesi (in case of bad weather, the show will be postponed to Sunday 16 October)

7 pm - Guided night excursion with lanterns by Asiago Guide, from Treschè Conca to Cesuna and return by train. Meeting at the Ex Stazione outdoor car park (on reservation IAT ) 

SUNDAY 16 OCTOBER - TRESCHÈ CONCA

During the day, the traveling clowns of the Lustigh Association will appear surprisingly with soap bubbles and face painting.

10 am - Cateaters Pipe Band - itinerant animation with Scottish bagpipes

10.30 am - 12.30 pm and 3 pm - 5 pm - Workshop with Cristina of Il Casòn delle Meraviglie. Meeting at the Ex Stazione outdoor car park (reservation recommended IAT )

2.00 pm - "Gli spaventapasseri" production by Acqualta Teatro - Itinerant theatrical animation with stories, legends and giant bubbles on stilts and three-wheeled bicycle

About 3.00 pm - "I Bontemponi: varietà d'altri tempi" folk choral group

From 5pm - Draw winners prize games ("Guess the weight and measure...!")

VÈRBEN TO CESUNA

Throughout the weekend, from 10:00 to 18:00, departure of the trains in the company of AsiagoGuide with stories during the journey on the Cimbrian legends.

During the two days of Vèrben in Cesuna a gastronomic truck will be active.

SATURDAY 15 OCTOBER - CESUNA

10 am - Opening of the Vèrben event with an agri-food market at the Palaciclamino. Opening inflatable games for children.

12 noon - Happy Hour Spritz

2 pm - The magic train - mini workshops for children at the Palaciclamino (reservation recommended IAT ). 

3 pm - Demonstration of cheese production with cutting of the shape produced last Vèrben

4 pm - The magic train - mini workshops for children at the Palaciclamino (reservation recommended IAT ). 

4.30 pm - Musical Aperitif with Mezzotono acoustic duo Elena and Fabio

8.30 pm - Theatrical performance in pineta: "Il fuoco del ricordo..." Dream Show production. A journey through poetry, music and performance with fiery juggling in the evocative setting of the Pineta di Cesuna.
In case of bad weather the show will be held at the Palaciclamino.

SUNDAY 16 OCTOBER - CESUNA

10 am - Departure excursion with AsiagoGuide  with laboratory "Pecora di Foza" at Malga Col Del Vento and return to the woods of Cesuna. Departure point Palaciclamino (by reservation IAT )
